Help me find my size
One of our biggest goals is to assist mamas with the perfect size, even when buying online and being unable to fit the garment. We have ample experience in sizing mamas through exhibiting at expos for the last eight years. We have come to the conclusion over and over again that measuring can be very misleading!
Bra sizing:
So step 1 - chuck away the tape! There are other more effective ways to get the perfect fit. Here are a few quick pointers:
- Start with a bra you are wearing now and check on which hook it closes at the back.
- After 30 weeks and you close it on the biggest setting - add an extender and you should have enough space
- Before 30 weeks and you close it on the biggest setting - go up a chest size. E.g. if you are a 34 now, get a 36. If you are a large now, get an XL.
Please note all our bras come with an extender to add when you need a wider fit as pregnancy progresses
- Cup: can you fit your hand inside comfortably, or is it already very tight with no room for growth or milk to come in? If there is no space for your hand, go up a cup size
- Do you know sister sizes? Did you know a 34C and a 36C is not the same size? Increasing chest size has an effect on the cup size, e.g.:
32DD = 34D = 36C = 38B
OR
44F = 42E = 40D
The above tips will already guide you in the right direction.
Panty sizing:
- Start with tights/panty that fits comfortably currently to get a starting point
- Is there room for growth around the bum/thigh areas? This is the most important factor to consider as all our panties are designed to stretch over or fit underneath a pregnant/post birth tum
- If you are having twins/gain weight easily or lose weight slowly (for after birth), rather take a bigger size
